Denitsa Andonova

Denitsa Andonova holds strong expertise in the field of non formal education and education through sport (ETS). She has been involved in youth activities since 2010 and has been working as project manager and trainer since 10  years. In. the past years Ms Andonova has been working within a Italian NGO, where she was mainly in charge of managing KA2 strategic partnership projects and has provided trainings for youth, youth workers, trainers, teaching and school staff. Currently Ms Andonova decided to transfer her knowledge and expertise and to put it in service to the local community of her native city Stara Zagora, so she is the President of Association Mundus Bulgaria.

Ms Andonova has successfully completed a Traing Of Trainers on ETS methodology, provided by ISCA (DK) in 2013, and since she has implemented various projects using sport as a tool for  education in Bulgaria, Poland, France, Cyprus, etc. Ms Andonova is one of the co-authors of the Manuel “Move and Learn”, published in 2013, which provides extensive and explicit content regarding the concept of Education through sport and how sport and physical activity practices could be used as educational tools for work with young people. Moreover, she has been involved as a mentor within a Long term training program for project managers in sports “Yes We Run”.  Ms Andonova possess extensive educational background in the field of social sciences focused exclusively on non formal education. She has completed 2 relevant Master degrees in Sociology and Intercultural communication, obtained in the University of Strasbourg, FRANCE.

Ms Andonova has also been collaborating with several youth NGOs, various sport clubs and institutions in her career. Besides the use of Bulgarian language as mother tongue, Ms Andonova is fluent in Italian, French and English languages, so she will also contribute for the preparation of materials in the mentioned languages, regarding the dissemination project phase. Such language abilities shall be seen also as an asset for dissemination purposes among stakeholders at EU level.
