We had the great pleasure to send one of our team members to the Youth@Work Fair: Tools for Youth Employability and Entrepreneurship that took place in Budapest, Hungary on 23-27 June 2025. The event is part of the Youth@Work Partnership and took the form of various interactive activities – workshops, case studies, study visits, a “marketplace” for tools and best practices, all organized and conducted by the participants themselves, as well as two motivational lectures to open and close the event by local people.

The event kicked off with a motivational talk on “Change Your Lenses to Change Lives” by Nelli Fejes, Organisational and Sports Psychologist with visual impairment, followed by interactive workshops where participants explored various themes through games, discussions, and lectures.

On the second day, attendees shared tools and good practices during a dynamic “marketplace” session, and later visited local organizations supporting vulnerable groups and youth in Budapest.

The final day focused on real case studies, group reflections, and wrapped up with an inspiring keynote on building resilience through vulnerability and compassion given by Orsi Temesvári – a resilience trainer and life coach.

The participants and organizers were about 45 people from all over Europe – Serbia, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Estonia, Finland, Austria, Germany, Turkey, Palestine, Egypt, Ireland, Moldova, Hungary and Bulgaria. The event brought together professionals from different fields – mostly people working in NGOs dealing with Erasmus+ and other EU-funded projects, career counselling specialists, social workers, people working in other types of NGOs.

The event provided a rich space for learning, networking, and sharing impactful ideas. We are grateful for the opportunity to send a representative and meet so many inspiring colleagues and people from all over Europe!
