SPIDER project kicks off in Salzburg, Austria

Share:

The SPIDER project officially started with a successful kick-off meeting in Salzburg, Austria, on the 4th and 5th of February 2026. It brought together partners from across Europe:

During the meeting, project partners had the opportunity to get to know each other better, exchange ideas, and strengthen the foundations of the consortium. Building strong relationships from the very beginning is an important step in ensuring effective cooperation throughout the project.

The consortium also reviewed the overall project vision and objectives, quickly moving into a productive discussion of the project plan. Together, the partners outlined the framework for the upcoming activities and clarified the key elements that will guide the implementation of the project in the coming months. Several important milestones were established during the meeting. The team agreed on the project timeline, set initial deadlines, and defined responsibilities among the partner organisations.

The kick-off meeting also provided space to discuss coordination, communication, and collaboration processes within the consortium. By aligning expectations early on, the partners laid a solid foundation for smooth cooperation and efficient project management.
One of the first accomplished tasks was the launch of the project website.

With the SPIDER project now officially underway, the consortium looks forward to the next phase of activities and to working together to strengthen Sport for Development initiatives and empower young people across Europe.
