The third edition of our Erasmus+ Training Course, Digital Skills Bootcamp, has officially and successfully come to an end. For one inspiring week, twenty young people and youth workers from different European countries gathered in YouTopia, Stara Zagora, Bulgaria, to learn how to create social media campaigns for NGO projects as part of the Erasmus+ programme. The training was designed to explore digital tools and dissemination strategies for youth work, focusing on personal and professional development, proper audience engagement, and digital branding for non-profit organisations through hands-on materials and workshops.
Over the course of six days, the participants engaged with a wide range of topics, including digital project management, benchmark research, digital storytelling with and without artificial intelligence, digital design creation with and without AI, digital campaign creation, A/B testing, social media management, as well as presentation, public speaking and leadership skills. All sessions were built on non-formal education and youth-centred design, ensuring that every workshop was interactive, practical, and immediately useful for the participants’ daily work. The programme also included team-building activities, cultural evenings, and sessions focused on the development and execution of real digital projects.
However, the experience went far beyond the classroom. The group played games, celebrated their different cultures, explored the city of Stara Zagora, and created unforgettable bonds that will last long after the training ended. You can get a sneak peek of how it all went by visiting our Instagram and Facebook profiles and exploring our posts, as well as the posts our participants created, which capture the daily activities and the unique mood throughout the training. We are grateful to everyone who took part, and hope to see everyone soon!
