FAMS Project: Final TPM and International Conference in Bucharest, Romania

In late November, the FAMS consortium gathered one last time and held its final International Conference in Bucharest, Romania. The project, aimed at fostering gender equality in sports coaching and attaining equal representation of women and mothers in sport, was presented to students at the National University of Physical Education and Sport in Bucharest, as well as to other stakeholders in the field.

The International conference served as a stage where the final results of the FAMS project were showcased. One of the notable outputs was the development of training formats, coordinated by Mundus Bulgaria. These training materials are designed to equip women with the technical competencies necessary to take on leadership roles within modern sports organizations. The training formats have been tested through local programmes by each partner organization with the participation of 100 young women from all partner countries.

The highlight of the conference was the presentation of the project’s latest output: an online platform offering e-learning modules and video tutorials. This platform is intended to help potential female leaders to develop their skills through autonomous and self-oriented learning. The web-platform is free and available at https://www.elearning-fams.eu/login
