Digital Skills Bootcamp: We mark the completion of the 2nd edition of the Training Course

We are happy to announce the successful end of the second edition of our Erasmus+ Training Course – Digital Skills Bootcamp in Sofia, Bulgaria.

As guests and participants we had a total of 20 young and motivated people from 5 European countries – Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Lithuania, Spain and Czechia. The participants spent one wonderful week in the Bulgarian capital learning how to create a social media campaign promoting an NGO project. The program included the basics of creating an online dissemination campaign aiming to enrich the digital skills of youth workers and introduced the participants to project management (Trello), brainstorming (Miro) and creative (Canva) tools that they can use in their professional and personal lives. Moreover, we placed a focus on targeting the right people by creating personas for the projects, choosing the right tone of voice for the appropriate target group and creating different versions of a campaign to be tested with an audience.

Apart from the hard work, we didn’t forget to have fun and get to know each other – we played games, celebrated our cultures in a cultural evening (where we even celebrated a double birthday!), explored Sofia on a walking tour within the center and the most notable places, and created unique and unforgettable bonds.

As part of the training course the participants, divided in 5 teams, had to create social media campaigns for some of our actual projects. These campaigns are currently running on our social media accounts – Instagram and Facebook. Visit our accounts and see the 5 different campaigns for the projects VOC, Food4Thought, FAMS, EmployMe, and GREW.

As part of their preparation, participants also created posts and videos reflecting the flow of work and insights from every day of the training course. You can also see this content on our socials!

We are grateful to all our participants for the engagement and the wonderful input! Looking forward to the 3rd edition of the Digital Skills Bootcamp training course. Stay tuned!
