The Food4Thought Blended Mobility took place from May 26-30 in beautiful Braga, Portugal. We are happy that one of our team members and our friends from the Spanish NGO Espacio Ladano, who are based in Bulgaria attended the urban agriculture event hosted by the portuguese partner AJEA.
The event aimed to showcase the project’s results, including the training program and the Food4Thought platform, to young people and youth workers from all six partnering countries – Portugal, Bulgaria, Romania, Cyprus, Italy, and Croatia.
There were workshops on theoretical planning and building of urban gardens in various settings, a visit to a local urban pedagogical farm, and, of course, plenty of team-building activities. These activities helped the whole group work smoothly together and allowed the participants to learn from each other’s experiences in urban agriculture.
We are grateful for the opportunity to attend and send participants from Bulgaria. These three days were educational and truly amazing!
