On the 27th of April in Warsaw, Poland was held the First International Meeting for the Project AduGames, led by our polish partner Regional Volunteering Centre in Kielce. Present were representatives of all partnering organizations: Mundus Bulgaria, Asociatia Centrul Pentru Strategii de Dezvoltare a Tineretului – Romania and Biderbost Boscan & Rochin sl – Spain.
AduGames is a new project we just started partnering in, that aims to build up competencies of non-formal adult education practitioners for using gamification methods and to explore gamification methodology and to promote its use in adult education all around Europe. We initiated the work on the project by properly distributing the responsibilities of each association involved and establishing important deadlines and events that should be carried out.
By the end of the project, we will have created 4 new instruments and methodologies using gamification, that should serve adult educators in their activities as a teaching tool. The intellectual outputs for this project are: Board Game, Card Game, an Online Platform with games with educational purposes and a manual on how to use gamification in adult education.
In the next few months Mundus will be reaching out to institutions related to adult education in order to be collaborating for the implementation of this project and to test out the gamification methods.
