On April 1st, we had the pleasure of taking part in the Erasmus+ training course “Skills for You(th)r Employment”, held in Sofia, Bulgaria. The event was organized by our friends and long-time partners at Academy of Success (ASBG), and we were truly honored to be invited.
During the session, we had the opportunity to present our organization – Mundus Bulgaria, share more about our mission, and highlight some of our ongoing projects and activities. We introduced participants to the Food4Thought project and the platform that offers young people free access to educational resources and tools on urban agriculture. Through a short demo, we showed how users can explore topics like sustainable food production and environmental practices in an interactive and accessible way.
We also showcased the already finished but still close to our hearts project – You(th)Play, that raises awareness about environmental issues through game-based learning. We presented both the online game and the physical board game Virtual Planet, which we later gifted to the participants, giving attendees a look at how the game helps players understand environmental challenges and think critically about solutions.
Beyond the presentations, we were happy to meet and connect with other inspiring young people, all dedicated to empowering youth and supporting their development.
We’re grateful for this opportunity and for the warm welcome from ASBG. It’s always a pleasure to share our work, learn from others, and collaborate toward a brighter future for young people!
